1. Copyright Policy

ICP Verification is committed to complying with UAE copyright laws and international intellectual property standards. We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and will respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with applicable law. We have adopted and implemented a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of users who are repeat infringers. • Your Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that we can contact you regarding your claim.
• Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Statement of Accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
• Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Please note that under UAE law, any person who knowingly makes a false claim of copyright infringement may be subject to penalties including liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees incurred by the alleged infringer or by us as a result of the false claim. Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 on Copyrights and Related Rights provides for civil liability for groundless claims.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

• Identification of Removed Material: A clear description of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, including the specific URL or location where the material appeared before it was removed.
• Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
• Your Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber or content provider.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complainant and will restore the removed material within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with our commitment to protecting intellectual property rights, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. A "repeat infringer" is defined as a user who has been the subject of two (2) or more valid copyright infringement notifications. We track all infringement notifications and counter-notifications to identify repeat infringers.

When we determine that a user qualifies as a repeat infringer, we will take one or more of the following actions: (a) permanently terminate the user's account; (b) block the user's access to our services; (c) remove all content uploaded by the user; and/or (d) report the user to relevant UAE authorities for potential legal action under Federal Law No. 7 of 2002. We will provide written notice to the user before taking termination action, except where immediate action is necessary.

5. Our Own Intellectual Property

All content on icpverification.ae and icpselfserviceportal.ae, including but not limited to the website design, layout, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the exclusive property of ICP Verification or its content suppliers and is protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The ICP Verification name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ICP Verification. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this website are the trademarks of their respective owners.

6. Fair Use and Permitted Uses

We acknowledge the doctrine of fair use as recognized under UAE copyright law and international standards. Limited use of our copyrighted material may be permitted without authorization for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research, provided that the use is fair and does not infringe upon our commercial interests. When using our content under fair use, you must provide appropriate attribution to ICP Verification and include a link to the original source where applicable.
